Job Description:

Our client is an energy corporation. They are looking for a Senior Software Developer to join their Stamford, CT office.Responsibilities

• Collaborate with commercial trading teams to re-engineer & optimize trading processes and models
• Evolve cloud-native solutions to promote integration within the framework
• Liaise with the data science team to create next-generation analytic tools
• Expand software to support commercial activity including supply & demand, positions, and market data analysis
• Oversee problem areas and follow the software development lifecycleRequirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field
  • 10+ years of prior professional programming experience preferred
  • Must understand object-oriented programming concepts
  • Experience with cloud-based technologies required
  • Experience with DevOps practices, including CI/CD, and infrastructure-as-code preferred
  • Previous experience with Git, Containers (Docker), Kubernetes, Microservices, Spring, shell scripting, messaging busses, React, or Angular preferred
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Proficient in MATLAB preferred
  • Knowledge of Snowflake, Oracle, SQL Server, or PostgreSQL preferred
  • Knowledge of Python or Java required
