Licensed Mental Health Counselor

* Receive weekly clinical supervision to prepare for "C'" licensure
* Engage in Specialized training and education in both Trauma Informed Treatment; DBT principles and application to acute care treatment

*Responsibilities*
* Provide Individual, Family and Group Therapy, supervised by unit clinical leadership
* Complete psychosocial assessments and identify psychosocial issues impacting patients and their families
* Work with unit team to address resources for aftercare and treatment needs
* Work with outside agency's as part of the discharge planning process

*Qualifications*
* NYS LMHC License
* MHC - Special support given to complete hours needed to obtain licensing within 6 months

Monday thru Friday

Experience-based salary scale starting at $55,000 with additional compensation for licensure and years of experience
